Riverside Custom Homes was started in 2003, but owner Freddy Venegas has been involved in construction since his early childhood. Freddy Venegas spent many summers working with his father’s remodeling company R & J Construction in Del Rio, Texas. Freddy did everything from roofing, painting, carpentry and even trash clean up to get the job done. Upon graduating from Del Rio High School Freddy moved to San Antonio where he enrolled in the Construction Management program at UTSA. At UTSA Freddy Venegas earned his BBA in Construction Management and MBA in Project Management. Freddy has also worked for every type or style of home building company (tract, semi-custom, and custom builder). It is with this extensive knowledge and experience that he was able to create his own style and make home building simple and enjoyable for everyone involved.

Renovation is replacing something old with something new. Such as replacing a tile back splash, new counter tops, new flooring or new paint. Remodeling means to alter the current structure. Such as moving interior or exterior walls, installing new doors or windows or increasing the floor plan by constructing an addition.
No! Not all the time but we request that someone be available so that status and progress updates can be provided on a daily basis.
Normally it takes us from 4 to 6 months to build a home. Communication is the key to a faster build time!
Year 1: Is craftsmanship and materials. If anything goes wrong with the installation or performance of a product we will cover it free of charge. Years 1-2: We will cover any defect with your mechanical systems. This covers your plumbing, electrical, and heating/air conditioning. Years 1-10: The structural integrity of the home is covered.
Yes we can carry the loan for you but will require earnest money. We limit the amount of homes we carry so please check with us on the availability of this type of contract to build.
